SUN, JIA-LING
I was in charge of writing and researching the outline of the web expo, which not only requires the use of words to handle complex information but also considers the fluency of reading. We can discuss with each other and use our strengths to solve various problems for each other. Not only does it make teamwork more efficient, but also we can learn a lesson from each other. After this expo, I got to know more about the local culture that I did not pay much attention to in the past, so we could stop and appreciate the exotic street of Huaxin Street.

My job is set on the website as a data compiler and analyst. Through this project, I learned a lot of things that I hadn't tried before, such as being one of the Myanmar Street tour guide, learning about the life of local people through interviews, and discussing with local historians to improve my knowledge of Burma Street.
WONG, JIE-SHI
Currently a sophomore at Chu-Lin High School in New Taipei City, Taiwan. My main task in this team is to translate Chinese into English without losing the original meaning, which is difficult for me since I’m not a native speaker. Since there are a lot of cultural things and stuff that we are not familiar with, things didn’t go too well at first. However, my teammates and I tried very hard to deal with the translating work. As we get to know more about the culture and stories of Myanmar Street in our homeland, Taiwan, we realize that it needs to be known by more people and protected. Furthermore, we want to share it with people from other countries, too. Therefore, we participated in this event to let more people learn about this street and see the beauty of the culture.
PENG, CHUN-HAO
This is my first time participating in Cyber Fair and my job is to write articles and take relevant photos. I've always been interested in Burma Street, so I enjoyed the process quite a bit. In this work, my team and I used the fieldwork method learned in textbooks to interview two residents living in Burma Street, learn about the culture of the neighborhood and the reasons for its formation from their mouths, and organize guided tours in cooperation with local cultural and historical groups, Introduce Myanmar Street to friends and relatives. In addition, I also used my camera to take pictures of the distinctive signs and meals in the street, leaving more records about Myanmar Street. I believe this is a very special experience, one that many people have never had.

I have always been interested in the field of information technology. In this project, my job is to set up the website. It is my first attempt to design a website. During the process, I encountered many difficulties. For example, I had to integrate the finished products of my teammates, and we must consider whether the typography can make the viewer feel comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the aesthetics, everyone worked hard together to think about how to make the website better. With the joint efforts of my team members, I hope the website can be completely designed. Through this project, not only did I learn the skills of setting up a website, but also knew the importance of teamwork.

I originally thought that Burmese culture was far away from my life, but by chance, I participated in the Web Expo and was responsible for the website. I thought it would be a difficult task to set up the website because of the layout and many technical issues involved, but with the cooperation of my classmates and me, we were able to solve all the difficulties we encountered during the process and finally succeeded in turning our efforts into a proud result. In the process, I learned the skills to set up a website and learned a lot about the fascinating Burmese culture.
WANG, ZI-YUN
I am part of the team. I am in charge of painting and translation. Painting different shops in Myanmar Street is a special and interesting experience. I learned that this street is full of shops with different characteristics and stories. The work of painting is very hard, and it is a huge challenge for me to complete multiple pictures within a period, but I have learned to master the special food of different stores and how to effectively make maps and store logos, which has added a lot of painting experience.
Translating is another difficult task because the web page needs many proper nouns, and I am not familiar with these words as I have never been exposed to Burma Street, which often leads to difficulties in translation. Fortunately, it can be solved in the end, making me learn that there are many words related to Myanmar Street, and I am more familiar with the story behind it. Finally, I realize that this street needs to be promoted so that more people like me can recognize and protect its unique culture. This thing is important and irreplaceable.
